Custom Pet Portrait Color Study - oil painting on panel

This listing is for one custom painting of your pet, done with a limited color palette similar to the one pictured. The painting in the photo is no longer available. Please read the description below in its entirety before placing an order.

After purchasing, please promptly email me (tanyaturnerart@gmail.com) with the following information:

1. What is your pet’s name?

2. Do you have a preference for certain colors, or would you like to be surprised? Keep in mind that this style of portrait only utilizes about two colors.   

3. Photo(s) of your pet. If your pet is no longer with us, I will work with whatever photos you have and make it work. Otherwise, please ensure the photos are well-lit and clearly show their face. If you have a preferred photo, please point that one out. 

4. May I share process images/video of the painting on social media? This might include your pet’s name and/or photos of them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

“How long does it take to complete each painting?”

I am usually able to complete custom paintings within 3 weeks. Paintings done in oil have a long drying time however, so you should plan on an additional drying period of 2-3 weeks. 

”What animals will you paint?”

All animals are welcome! I once painted some snakes and it was such a fun project.

”Can you paint more than one pet at a time?”

Paintings of this size only have room for one pet. I do plan to offer some larger options in the future, but for now it’s just one cutie pie at a time.

”Will I get a chance to preview the work and request changes?”

Yes! I will send out an email with a preview of the finished painting. If you’d like changes, please request them within 3 days. If I don’t hear anything back, I’ll assume we are good to go and get it prepped for shipping.
